# Pulli

> Pulli is a free, open-source Mac app for Android phones. It copies photos, videos and files
> between an Android phone and a Mac over USB, in both directions, and continues an interrupted
> copy from the exact byte where it stopped. Current version: 0.4.4.

- Requirements: a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) and macOS 26 Tahoe or later. Intel Macs
  are not supported. Any Android phone with a data cable that offers "File transfer"; nothing is
  installed on the phone.
- Price and licence: free, open source under GPL-3.0. No account, no ads, no analytics.
- Setup: install Pulli, plug in and unlock the phone, then choose "File transfer" in the phone's
  USB notification.

## What it does

- Phone to Mac: photos, videos and any folder; one click copies only what is new since last time
  and skips files already on the Mac, even under another name.
- Mac to phone: drag files onto the phone, click Add..., or paste with Command-V.
- Browse the phone like Finder: list or icons, sorting, previews, Quick Look; the phone also
  appears in Finder's sidebar under Locations.
- Copies that finish: 4 MB blocks saved before they are recorded, so a pulled cable, a locked
  phone, a sleeping Mac, a crash or a restart never costs more than one block. Every file gets a
  SHA-256 fingerprint.
- Free up space: deletes copied originals from the phone only after checking each copy byte for
  byte.
- Storage map of the phone, including WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram and Viber media.
- Menu bar item, desktop widgets, notifications and Shortcuts actions.
